Jupiter Inlet District Awarded $1.5M in Cost-Share Funding from FDEP
Jupiter Inlet District officials submitted a local government funding request for cost-share funding from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) for its projects for FY 2021-2022, and received confirmation of a $1,518,525 award in support of planned District projects.
This cost-share funding is provided by the State through the FDEP Beach Management Assistance Program with funds specifically earmarked for coastal and inlet management by the Florida State Legislature. For more information, click here.
"We are continously looking for ways to leverage resources entrusted to us and wisely invest funds in projects that benefit our region and the consituents we serve," said Jupiter Inlet District Commission Chairman George Gentile.
